Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, represented by the Dean of the Faculty, announces an open competition
for the project I-CARE4OLD (Horizont 2020), Project registration number: 965341
to fill research position:
DDP student, agreement to perform work, 17 hours per month (0,1 FTE) – 3 positions
Place of work: Faculty of Pharmacy, Hradec Králové
Responsibilities:
- is responsible for the high-quality execution of A-E literature searches and for summarizing the outputs into clear tables,
- is responsible for entering research data into the project database, cleaning the data and preparing them for statistical analyses,
- collaborates on the preparation and interpretation of other clinical study results,
- cooperates on the publication outputs of the project,
- is responsible for high-quality processing of outputs to foreign publications,
- works on key project activities as directed by the supervisor.
Profile:
- postgraduate student, completed a master's degree in natural science at a university in the Czech Republic or achieved a comparable degree at a foreign university,
- knowledge and experience in clinical pharmacy - preference will be given to experience in clinical pharmacy in geriatrics,
- knowledge and experience of applied pharmacology and applied pharmacokinetics,
- active English skills (proficiency in spoken and written English).
Other knowledge and skills:
- good knowledge in the field of rational geriatric pharmacotherapy,
- work on PC and with databases,
- statistical knowledge essential for communication with the statistician,
- flexibility, diligence, thoroughness, and responsibility,
- good organizational and communication skills,
- ability to work both independently and in the team,
- high motivation and hardworking,
- strong willingness to learn new things continuously and complete foreign internships of InoMed project.

Labour Code (Law No. 262/2006 Coll.) and internal salary structure and regulations of Charles University specify the salary conditions.
The estimated wage: 10.000 CZK/month.
The start of work: 1. 1. 2023 or will be discussed.
Type of employment contract: for a fixed period (1 year) with the possibility of extension
FTE: 17 hours per month (0,1 FTE).
