Analysis of plant material

Analytical methods are very important in the research and identification of therapeutically significant substances of natural origin. Especially high separation efficiency techniques, such as HLPC, UHPLC and electrophoresis are of crucial importance in analysis of complex plant extracts. These extracts contain hundreds of components that differ substantially in concentrations and physically-chemical properties. Therefore, separation, identification and quantitation of individual components are very challenging.
