On the 16th November 2017 presented associate professor Hronek the lecture called: "Methods of indirect calorimetry and bioimpedance spectroscopy" on the seventh educational seminar for the members of our workgroup.
On the 8th March presented Mgr. Josková the lecture: "Nutritional support in critically ill patients - the use of pharmacists, practice, research" on the 101. lecture evening of Pharmacists Association in Hradec Králové.
On the 4th December 2015 presented associate professor Hronek the lecture called:"Application of devices Fresenius BCM and Multiscan
5000 Bodystat in bioimpedance analysis of body composition" on the sixth educational seminar for the members of our workgroup.
On the 19th June 2015 presented associate professor Hronek the lecture called:"Basics of statistics, methods of evaluation, statistical software and its use" on the fifth educational seminar for the members of our workgroup.
On the 21st January 2015 presented associate professor Hronek on the fourth educational seminar of our workgroup the lecture called: „Bioelectrical impedance analysis of body composition“. This lecture was focused on body composition, basics of bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) and bioelectrical impedance spectroscopy (BIS), factors influencing the accuracy of BIA measurement and BIA markers in clinical practise.
On the 15th October 2014 presented associate professor Hronek on the third educational seminar of our workgroup the lecture called: „Indirect calorimetry – basics and clinical application“. This lecture was especially focused on principles of this method, determination of resting energy expenditure and nutrition substrates utilization and their applicability in clinical practice.
On the 17th May 2013 organized associate professor Hronek a seminar “Basic statistical analysis of data from preclinical and clinical studies” within the project Centre for innovation in biomedical sciences (EU project CEPIN) for academic faculty staff. The main topics of the seminar were basic statistical terms, basic descriptive statistics, and evaluation of statistically significant difference between data samples, evaluation of statistically significant relationship between data. It was described use and specific application of statistical software Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism.
The second educational seminar took place on the 11th January 2013:
- Mgr. Fikrová gave a lecture on Comet assay and its potential clinical applications. She described her opportunities to assess damage and DNA repair.
- The second part of Dr. Hronek described the overall goals of the research group in 2013. Specifically, for each member described his focus and challenge for this year. Were also outlined aims of the Center for Research and Development at University Hospital.
The first seminar of our research group took place on the 2nd November 2012 and into three part was divided:
- Dr. Hronek informed about research topics, involvement of our team in the Department of Research and Development at University Hospital Hradec Kralove.
- Mgr. Pavlíčková Aimová spoke about indirect calorimetry in her lecture.
- Dr. Hronek educated group about psychological aspects and other specifics in communication with patients during their examination in clinical research.
