The Department is sufficiently equipped for preparation of subcellular fractions (cooling box, homogenizer, centrifuges, ultracentrifuges), for cultivation of cell lines, primary cultures of hepatocytes, precision-cut tissue slices, and helminths (tissue slicer, autoclave, laminar box, CO2 incubators), for enzyme activities assays (thermomixers, spectrophotometers, spectrofluorimeters, HPLC), for immunodetection of proteins (electrophoresis, blotting equipment), for study of biotransformation of xenobiotics and detection, identification and quantification of metabolites (HPLC, UHPLC-MS/MS) and for molecular diagnostic techniques (equipment for PCR, RT-PCR, electrophoresis).
