Charles University
The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Charles University is the one of two faculties of pharmacy in the Czech Republic. It prepares students to succeed in all fields of pharmacy, i.e. in general pharmacy practice, clinical pharmacy departments in public and private hospitals, pharma industry, pharma / healthcare management, and, in general, in research and development. This function would not be possible without state-of-the-art research and academic staff, good research infrastructure, and sufficient research funding. Is the leading research institution in the Czech Republic in a variety of pharmaceutical disciplines including analytical chemistry/pharmaceutical analysis, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, and clinical pharmacy. In the QS World University Ranking 2020 by subject, Pharmacy and Pharmacology at CUNI is ranked 151-200. This result can be largely attributed to this faculty as the dominant contributor to this field. It should be mentioned that the faculty is also the most productive research institution in the region of Hradec Králové.

Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna (UNIBO) was founded in 1088 and is considered to be the oldest university in Western Europe. Nowadays, it still remains one of the most important institutions of higher education across Europe, with around 87.000 enrolled students, 32 Departments, 5 Schools, around 2800 academics and 2900 administrative staff. UNIBO is a comprehensive higher education institution located in the Emilia-Romagna Region, in the centre-north of Italy. It is located in 5 Campuses, the main one being in the city of Bologna and 4 additional campuses are in the Romagna area. UNIBO is today the most internationalised of all Italian universities.
UNIBO participates in OEMONOM Project through two Departments: the Department of Pharmacy and Biotechnology (FaBiT) and the Department of Education Studies “G.M. Bertin” (EDU).

University of Pécs
The University of Pécs (UP) with its 20 000 students, with more than 4 500 international students, with 1 400 lecturers and researchers, with its 10 faculties is one of the largest higher education institutions in Hungary and the centre of knowledge within the Transdanubian region. Its roots date back to 1367. The UP represents classical values, while the challenges of present and future times are being adapted successfully as well. The UP is one of the leading research universities in the country with a huge professional research background. The Szentágothai Research Centre is home to a number of medical, pharmaceutical and other scientific researches. The university has 21 doctoral schools including the Pharmaceutical Doctoral School. Training at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the UP started in September 2000 following the establishment of the institutes of pharmaceutical sciences. The Pharmacy Programme was accredited by the Hungarian Board of Accreditation (MAB) in 2006. The Pharmacy Programme initially was part of the Medical School. The independent Faculty of Pharmacy was established in 2016. We aim to train pharmacists who - based on the acquired theoretical knowledge - have both hands-on skills and ethical views and are able to participate in diverse fields of health care, pharmaceutical research, and pharmaceutical industry. With a pharmaceutical diploma one can work not just in public but hospital and clinical pharmacies as well. People with research interest can find a job in pharmaceutical research companies. Young fellows with economical interest can be involved in the market or management of pharmaceutical materials.

University of Porto
The Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto (FFUP) is the oldest Faculty of Pharmacy in Portugal. It was created in 1921 and continued the traditions of the School of Pharmacy, which was created in 1836. FFUP is a higher education institution focused on teaching and research in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences. In addition to the transmission of scientific knowledge and skills, FFUP has a continuous concern with the human and ethical domains, training professionals of excellence in the different areas of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The training courses offered by FFUP are constantly updated, aiming the rigour and quality of teaching, as well as its adaptation to the demands and needs of the labour market. The FFUP offers diversified courses, including the Integrated Master degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, seven second cycles of studies and seven third cycles of studies, some of them in collaboration with other institutions. It also promotes pedagogical, scientific and technical exchanges with national and international institutions, and develops extracurricular and professional training sessions. FFUP is also aware of its social responsibilities, providing public services that consolidate its active role among the local society. FFUP is extremely active and productive and occupies a top place in the ranking of University of Porto as far as the publication of papers indexed in prestigious international scientific journals are concerned. All the academics are integrated in Research Units classified by FCT either as very good, or excellent.

Comenius University in Bratislava
Comenius University in Bratislava is the oldest university in the Slovak Republic. It was founded in 1919 and follows the university tradition of the Academia Istropolitana which was established in Bratislava by Matthias Corvinus, the Hungarian King, in 1465. The Comenius University’s fundamental mission is the advancement and dissemination of knowledge and its understanding. Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Ljubljana (UL FFA) is the only university organization in the Republic of Slovenia for the study of pharmacy and a leading research and higher educational institution in the field of pharmacy, clinical biochemistry, toxicology and cosmetology in the region. The mission of UL FFA is to foster an environment supportive of education, research and service in order to promote the discovery, development and appropriate use of medicines. UL FFA considers research and study as two inseparable parts. Students of UL FFA are intensively stimulated to participate in research work in the second half of their study, which results in excellent and highly motivated graduates. Areas of expertise at UL FFA are development of biomarkers; cell biology; molecular pharmacology and toxicology; in-silico drug design, synthesis and evaluation of lead molecules/drug candidates in vitro; PK/PD modeling; development and validation of analytical and bioanalytical methods; formulation design; solid-form prototype development; advanced drug delivery, nanotechnology; phytopharmacy; pharmaceutical biotechnology. UL FFA has 1,400 students and approx. 150 teaching and research staff. UL FFA is strongly involved in basic and applicative research, financed by the government (68%), the pharmaceutical industry (21%), and EU projects (11%). UL FFA has excellent long-term research collaborations with the pharmaceutical industry, which have resulted in numerous international patent applications and approved patents.

The University of Kiel, officially the Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel, (German: Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, abbreviated CAU, known informally as Christiana Albertina) is a university in the city of Kiel, Germany. It was founded in 1665 as the Academia Holsatorum Chiloniensis by Christian Albert, Duke of Holstein-Gottorp and has approximately 27,000 students today. Kiel University is the largest, oldest, and most prestigious in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. Until 1864/66 it was not only the northernmost university in Germany but at the same time the 2nd largest university of Denmark. Faculty, alumni, and researchers of the Kiel University have won 12 Nobel Prizes.
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MNF) is the second largest faculty at Kiel University. 5,700 students are enrolled in our classes, 140 professors teach here – making us the largest body of teaching staff at a single faculty. Furthermore, the amount of third party funding is one of the highest in Germany. Our faculty is divided into eight departments: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Geography, Geoscience, and Marine Science.
