The Department is sufficiently equipped for preparation of subcellular fractions (cooling box, homogenizer, centrifuges, ultracentrifuges), for cultivation of cell lines, primary cultures of hepatocytes, and precision-cut tissue slices (tissue slicer, autoclave, laminar box, CO₂ and CO₂/O₂ incubators), for enzyme activities assays (thermomixers, spectrophotometers, spectrofluorimeters, HPLC), for immunodetection of proteins (electrophoresis, blotting equipment), for study of biotransformation of xenobiotics and detection, identification and quantification of metabolites (HPLC, UHPLC-MS/MS) and for molecular diagnostic techniques (equipment for PCR, RT-PCR, electrophoresis).
