Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, represented by the Dean of the Faculty, announces an open competition according to the Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions
for the project New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM,
Project No.: CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004607,
within the Operation Programme Johannes Amos Commenius (OP JAK), P 1: Research and Development, SO 1.1: Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and deploying advanced technologies,
to fill research position:
FaF_VZ4_101: PhD Student, 0,2 FTE (20 %),
Place of work: Hradec Králové
Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of a mentor, conducts research activities on the WP4 of the NETPHARM project in an agreed area,
- Planning and conducting research work on the WP4 of the NETPHARM project,
- Works on statistical analyses of the WP4 of the NETPHARM project,
- Preparation of abstracts and professional publications, presentation of results on an international scale,
- Participation in key project activities (e.g. conferences, convened meetings, etc.),
- Active dissemination of research outputs with an emphasis on application potential.
Requirements:
- Previous authorship or co-authorship of publications related to the research in clinical pharmacy is an advantage
- Active knowledge of the English language
- Master's degree in pharmacy or related fields
- Previous scientific activity in the field of clinical pharmacy is an advantage
- Previous experience in conducting literature searches, clinical studies, experience in statistical analyses of epidemiological data is an advantage
- Previous experience in active presentations of scientific outputs at international conferences and meetings
Other knowledge and skills:
- Prerequisites for excellent research work
- Flexibility, diligence and responsibility
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- High level of work commitment

The estimated monthly wage: 45 000 CZK (1,0 FTE)
The start of work: 1 May 2025
Type of employment contract: for 1 year, with the expectation that the contract will be extended until 29 February 2028.
Employment: part-time (0.2 FTE)
