for the project New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM,

within the Operation Programme Johannes Amos Commenius (OP JAK), P 1: Research and Development, SO 1.1: Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and deploying advanced technologies,
to fill research position:
FaF_VZ4_75 / FaF_VZ4_76 / FaF_VZ4_96 / FaF_VZ4_97 / FaF_VZ4_98: Researcher (junior), 0,1 FTE (10 %)
Place of work: Hradec Králové
Responsibilities:
- Independent performance of research activities for WP4 of the NETPHARM project,
- he/she is skilled in the designing, planning and execution of clinical research studies for WP4 of the NETPHARM project, and is capable of independent publishing of the partial scientific project outputs,
- has significant practical clinical experience with geriatric patients in a variety of health care settings (primarily in acute and outpatient care), has practical clinical experience related to clinical individualization of drug treatment in geriatric patients at various stages of geriatric frailty, polymorbidity and polypharmacotherapy and having changes in renal, hepatic and cardiac functions,
- has sufficient experience in clinical-pharmaceutical research to participate in the research work on the WP4 of the NETPHARM project,
- is capable of supervising the work of students and postgraduate students involved in research works on WP4 of the NETPHARM project,
- is skilled in interpreting clinical data and designing statical analyses,
- is capable of presenting and publishing the obtained results at a national and international levels,
- is capable of participating in the preparation of national and international grant proposals,
- is capable of active participating in and preparing application outputs and project activities with emphasis on application potential,
- participates in the meetings and key activities of the WP4 of the NETPHARM project,
- in case of finding risk activities, non-compliance with timelines, etc., escalates the identified risks to the direct superior position, namely the head of WP4 of the NETPHARM project Assoc. Prof. Fialová.
Profile:
- A researcher who is no more than 7 years beyond the award of his/her academic Ph.D. or its equivalent (ISCED level 8 equivalent) is recommended,
- completed university doctoral studies (Ph.D. degree) in clinical and social pharmacy, clinical pharmacology, pharmacoepidemiology or in other clinical and related disciplines at pharmaceutical and medical faculties in the Czech Republic or attainment of a comparable degree at a foreign university no later than on the date of employment,
- a recommended H-index ≥ 3 is advantage, 1 first-authored publication (preferably with IF ≥ 3), letter of recommendation from 2 experts in clinical pharmacy, clinical pharmacology or related pharmaceutical and medical fields, required education in the relevant field of WP, grant activity an advantage, active knowledge of English language,
- scientific and publication activity in clinical pharmacy, clinical pharmacology, or related pharmaceutical and medical fields,
- previous clinical experience in clinical pharmacy, clinical pharmacology, geriatrics, pharmacoepidemiology or related pharmaceutical and medical fields is an advantage.

- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- High level of work commitment
- Ability to lecture independently in further education of pharmacists and physicians

The estimated monthly wage: 62 000 CZK (1,0 FTE)
The start of work: 1 May 2025 or can be negotiated
Type of employment contract: for 1 year, with the expectation that the contract will be extended until 29 February 2028.
Employment: part-time (0,1 FTE)
