Expression of carbonyl reducing enzymes in human tissues

A role of particular enzyme in organism is given in addition to its activities also by its expression in tissues. Therefore information about enzyme (protein) expression profile is crucial for estimation of its role in vivo. Some of human carbonyl reducing enzymes have been already described and levels of their expression in tissues or cell lines are well known. However, such information are, mainly in case of poorly characterized enzyme, quite small. Thus we are focusing on expression profiles of DHRS enzymes.
