• synthesis of novel antifungal, antibacterial, antimycobacterial, and anticancer agents
• structure-activity relationships of chalcone derivatives
• synthesis of low-molecular functionally substituted pyrazine derivatives and boronic acid derivatives
• structure-based/ligand based drug design
• member of the group Design and Development of New Antimicrobial Agents
