Academic Positions

  • Assistant Professor, Department of Biological and Medical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, Charles University, Hradec Králové (2020–present)
  • Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Charles University, Hradec Králové (2019–2020)
  • Researcher, Department of Biological and Biochemical Sciences, Faculty of Chemical Technology, University of Pardubice (2009–2018)

Research Internships & Stays

  • Institute Curie, Paris, France (2009) – 3-month internship within the EC project NeuroTAS (LSH-2005-1.2.2-2).
Worked as a junior researcher on Alzheimer’s disease biomarker detection in a microfluidic bead-based system.
  • Institute Curie, Paris, France (2010–2012) – Series of 4 short-term research visits (1–3 weeks each) within the EC project CAMINEMS (N° 228980).
Senior researcher role focused on on-chip immunocapture of rare cells from blood. Contributed to the development of microfluidic platforms for circulating tumor cell detection.
  • Charles University, Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic (2010) – 1-month research stay in the Cell Culture Laboratory.
Gained practical experience in cell culture methods and their integration into immunoanalytical applications.

These international and domestic stays significantly influenced the subsequent development of my research in immunoanalytical methods, magnetic immunosorbents, and microfluidic systems.
