• Pharmacoepidemiology:
  • epidemiologic characteristics of adverse drug events that lead to hospitalization
  • the potential of using routinely collected data to detect adverse drug events that lead to hospitalization
• Pharmacovigilance:
  • causality assessment of adverse drug reactions identified in post-marketing period
  • proposing strategies to detect adverse drug reactions that result in hospitalizations
• Drug Information:
  • comparison of drug-information sources to detect and address various drug-related problems (e.g. drug-drug interactions, drug dosing in renal impairment)
