- Automation in analytical chemistry - Flow Injection Analysis (FIA), Sequential Injection Analysis (SIA)
- Development of Sequential injection chromatography (SIC)
- Application of Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) in pharmaceutical, bioanalytical and environmental analysis
- Application of novel trends in stationary phases in LC (monolithic columns, sub-2-micron columns, core-shell technology)
- Development of modern bioanalytical methods including sample preparation and preconcentration for analysis of clinical markers in biological fluids
- Environmental analysis of drug residues in soil and waste water samples
