  • 2010 – habilitation in Pharmaceutical chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University in Prague (Docent degree, equiv. Assoc. Prof.). Thesis: Interaction of light with azaphthalocyanine dyes.
  • 1999-2004 PhD: Pharmaceutical chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove. Thesis: Azaanalogues of phthalocyanines as photosensitizers in photodynamic therapy.
  • 1994-1999 graduated from Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove (Magister degree, equiv. M.Sc.), Thesis: DNA cleaving groups of synthetic ribozymes I.
