The theme of Doctoral Thesis: Derivatives of crinine structural type of Amaryllidaceae alkaloids as potential drugs in the treatment of oncological diseases.
Research focus
- isolation of secondary metabolites from the plant family Amaryllidaceae (isolation, analysis, and structural identification using flash chromatography, prep. HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS).
- preparation of semi-synthetic derivatives of isolated compounds.

biological activity of secondary metabolites and prepared derivatives (AChE, BuChE, GSK-3β inhibitory activity, cytotoxic activity).
Current position
- a doctoral student at Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Botany.
