Job Opening: Researcher (senior), 0,3 FTE (project NETPHARM)

for the project New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM,
Project No.: CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004607,

within the Operation Programme Johannes Amos Commenius (OP JAK), P 1: Research and Development, SO 1.1: Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and deploying advanced technologies,

to fill research position:

FaF_VZ4_67: Researcher (senior), 0,3 FTE (30 %),

implementation of research activities 1.1, 1.2, 2 and 3 within the Work Package 4 entitled "Geriatric clinical pharmacy and new technologies for individualization of drug regimens in elderly patients".

Place of work: Hradec Králové

Responsibilities:

  • The researcher will perform research activities in the field of clinical pharmacy in geriatrics and in the field of geriatric pharmacoepidemiology in the framework of cooperation on WP4 entitled "Geriatric clinical pharmacy and new technologies for individualization of drug regimens in elderly patients",
  • will participate in the implementation of research activities 1.1, 1.2, 2 and 3 of the WP4 dedicated to research in the field of geriatric frailty and cardio-hepatorenal syndrome,
  • will be responsible for realization of literature review studies, for preparation of protocols and ethical documents for conducting prospective clinical studies, for realization and coordination of multicentric study and for pharmacoepidemiological processing of research data,
  • will actively collaborate with other WP4 researchers of the NETPHARM project and will support the coordination of work on the publication outputs of the project,
  • will be actively involved in the solution of other partial scientific and research tasks of the research group led by Assoc. Prof. Fialová (research group "Ageing, polypharmacotherapy and changes in the therapeutic value of drugs in old age") whose members are involved in the NETPHARM project,
  • will plan and implement statistical data processing in collaboration with other researchers, plan and implement research work, participate in the preparation of research data for analysis,
  • will be responsible for the preparation of presentations and publications of the results on a national and international level,
  • will be involved in the preparation of related national and international projects,
  • will actively participate in key project activities, research meetings, expert meetings, national and international conferences, etc.,
  • will actively participate in the dissemination project activities, implemented with an emphasis on application potential and establishing closer cooperation between academia and the application sector,
  • in agreement with the head of the WP4, will potentially help with supervision of the research activities of the scientific team and will solve identified problems/risks in collaboration with the head of WP4.

Profile:

  • A researcher who is more than 7 years beyond the award of his/her academic Ph.D. or its equivalent (ISCED level 8 equivalent)*,
  • completed university doctoral studies (Ph.D. degree) in clinical pharmacy, clinical pharmacology, medical disciplines, pharmacoepidemiology or related fields at a university in the Czech Republic or achieved a comparable degree at a foreign university,
  • senior researcher H-index ≥ 8, publications in major journals with IF, grant activity, active knowledge of English language (proficiency in spoken and written English),
  • scientific and publication activity in the field of clinical pharmacy, pharmacoepidemiology, clinical pharmacology or related fields,
  • previous experience in statistical and pharmacoepidemiological data processing and in clinical pharmacy/clinical pharmacology or pharmacoepidemiology. Previous experience or expertise in research dedicated to clinical pharmacy in geriatrics, rational geriatric pharmacotherapy or geriatric pharmacoepidemiology, or in the issue of cardio-hepato-renal syndrome.

The estimated monthly wage: 62 000 Kč (1,0 FTE)

The start of work: Can be negotiated

Type of employment contract: for a definite period of the project duration, expected until 29 February 2028.
