Implementation and Digital Health

The Centre has a particular interest in the adoption, implementation, and sustainability of complex digital interventions in healthcare. We investigate the factors that facilitate or hinder the successful integration of digital health technologies into routine clinical practice, including organizational readiness, healthcare professional engagement, patient acceptance, usability, and long-term sustainability.

Using implementation science frameworks and stakeholder-centred approaches, we develop and evaluate innovative digital solutions such as e-learning platforms, telehealth services, mobile health applications, decision-support tools, and patient self-management programmes. Our goal is to bridge the gap between research and practice, ensuring that effective digital interventions can be successfully implemented, scaled, and sustained to improve health outcomes, patient experience, and healthcare system performance.
