Public Education and Healthy Lifestyle

The Centre for Integrative Health is committed to empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health through evidence-based education. We provide reliable information on healthy lifestyles, stress management, self-care, and the safe use of dietary supplements and non-pharmacological health interventions.

A key initiative in this area was the EBSTYLE Project (Public Education on a Healthy Lifestyle Based on Scientific Evidence), implemented within the Operational Programme Education for Competitiveness (Priority Axis 3.1) under project registration number CZ.1.07/3.1.00/37.0190. The project was carried out in collaboration with University Hospital Hradec Králové as the main partner.

The primary goal of EBSTYLE was to promote responsible health-related decision-making among the general public. Participants learned how to:

  • Select high-quality, effective, and safe dietary supplements.
  • Evaluate the benefits and risks of non-pharmacological health interventions.
  • Apply the principles of evidence-based medicine when making health decisions.
  • Identify trustworthy online sources of health information.
  • Manage stress and support mental well-being.
  • Safely incorporate healthy lifestyle practices into their daily lives.

To ensure broad accessibility and practical application, the Centre delivers educational activities through:

  • Workshops
  • Public lectures
  • Individual consultations
  • E-learning courses

Through these activities, we aim to improve health literacy, support disease prevention, and help individuals develop sustainable lifestyle habits that contribute to long-term health and well-being.
