Placenta Team goes to Tabor 🇨🇿 A great trip organized by the Department of Pharmacology in a lovely Czech town. We got to learn a lot about medieval armor and found out they suit us as well as lab coats 😂
Great success just before leaving for summer holidays! Rona, Cilia and Hanča performed isolation of primary cells from human term placenta for the first time in our lab. They obtained a great yield and highly pure cells (cca 94%) 🥳👏🏻 This photo and yesterday’s results depict that team work is indeed the best work 🤗

In 2019 we had a very short, but great lab exchange from Bella, a master student at University of Cardiff! Bella was very hard working and a great asset to the team. Before leaving, as a gift she gave us a bottle of single malt whiskey, which we drink after successful presentations or when we get some great results. Thank you Bella and all the best to you!!

In 2018, we had the pleasure to have Klara Staudova (high school student in Hradec Kralove) and Cynthia Raj (master student at University of Padova, Italy) join our lab and learn the method of RNA isolation and qRT-PCR analysis :)
