Czech European Researchers’ Night
Researchers’ Night, an event that, for one evening, brings life to hundreds of science buildings that no ordinary mortal can enter. We have presented targeted anticancer therapy to the public and they loved it.
Simona Dudičová got the internship in Hong Qian group
Simona joins Hong Qian group at Karolinska Universitet in Stockholm for a 6 month internship. She will be focusiong on bone marrow microenvironemnt in CML and AM.
Simona Suchá successfully finished her doctoral studies
We are proud of Simona, who has just defended her PhD thesis: "Resistance mechanisms in therapy of acute myeloid leukemia" with all flying colours ;-)

Two our projects got funded by the Czech Health Research Council!
We are happy to find out that two our research projects got accepted fur 4-year funding at the Czech Health Research Council, starting in Mai 2023:
1. Project No. NU23-03-00562 "Development of resistance mechanisms to FLT3 inhibitors; role of bone marrow microenvironment" - will be solved with the team of our co-investigators lead by prof. MUDr. Pavel Žák, Ph.D. from the University Hospital in Hradec Kralove
2. Project No. NU23-08-00439 "Novel agents inhibiting FLT3-tyrosine kinase for the treatment of leukemia" - which we co-author with our colleagues from the Biomedicine Center of the University Hospital in Hradec Kralove and from the Charles University, Medical Faculty in Hradec Kralove.
