The leader of the group. Lucie is full of energy, ideas and stamina. She is our expert in mass spectroscopy and gas chromatography. She also deals with semi-synthesis of some derivatives. Laboratory is her life.

The guru and founder of the group. His life has become isolation of secondary plant metabolites of different structural types.

Assoc. Prof. PharmDr. Jakub Chlebek, Ph.D.
Jakub is focused on phytochemical skills – his main work is isolation of alkaloids - from big chromatographic columns to isolations in a micro measurement. Flash chromatography is his hobby!

Tomáš is focused on in vitro plant cells cultivation and study of biological activity of secondary plants metabolites.

PharmDr. Kateřina Hradiská Breiterová, Ph.D.
Kateřina deals with Amaryllidaceae alkaloids and their biological activities. Currently, Kateřina is also focused on cell lines cultivation to test neuroprotective activity of isolated compounds.

She focuses on isolation of alkaloids of the Amaryllidaceae family. She is also acquainted with interpretation of NMR spectra of isolated compounds..

PharmDr. Anna Hošťálková, Ph.D.
Anna is focused on isolation of secondary plant metabolites and their detection by MS methods (GC-MS, ESI). She is also acquainted with HPTLC.

RNDr. Jaroslav Jenčo, Ph.D.
Jaroslav is an excellent guitarist as well an analytical heart of our group. He is focused on GC-MS, LC-MS analysis, and also on isolation of alkaloids by preparative HPLC.

PharmDr. Daniela Suchánková, Ph.D.
Daniela is focused on isolation of Amaryllidaceae alkaloids and preparation their semi-derivatives. She is also enthusiastic for biological assays (inhibition cholinesterases).

Jana focuses on isolation of biologically active plant constituents – mostly alkaloids by modern techniques (Flash chromatography, preparatice HPLC) and their structure elucidation (NMR spectroscopy).
